Paralegal

Full time.

Hybrid (Kennington office London) after settling in. Min 3 days in office

Initial salary up to £30,000 pa depending on experience

We seek a paralegal to support the work of our solicitors in community care, public law and housing for tenants, homeless and disabled people, migrants, and welfare benefits claimants.

Candidates should have passed the SQE, LPC or BVC and must show

• Commitment to legal aid and access to justice
• Understanding of power imbalances
• Sensitivity to people from diverse cultures

Provided with training, supervision and support, duties will range from client interviews to final hearings, including drafting witness statements, preparing for and attending trial and providing administrative support with billing, liaison with the Legal Aid Agency, the courts, experts, counsel etc.

We provide a full bi-lingual service in Spanish and Portuguese therefore ability to work in one or both of those languages is an advantage.

A training contract or support through QWE will be offered to the suitable candidate.
