Legal Aid – contributions temporarily waived
The Legal Aid Agency’s webiste continues to be unavailable. From today 27 June 2025 and until further notice, all contributions for new applications, or monthly contributions for existing applications, are being waived. If you have been paying monthly contributions, you should stop until further notice.

Legal Aid Agency – Data Breach
The Legal Aid Agency has reported a data breach incident to their online digital services. In response to this development the LAA are urging all members of the public who have applied for legal aid since 2010 to safeguard themselves. It is recommended impacted individuals are alert for any suspicious activity such as unknown messages or phone calls and to be extra vigilant to update any potential exposed passwords.
